Re: My Dear Erinn
[[*stares blankly at the calendar for a while before writing this* Just...wow, the time. D8 ]]
The trial ended on a bit of a sour note for Temo; but given how everything in his planning fell apart up until now, he couldn't say he was too surprised. Really, he was pleased to that end. Save for one thing, he couldn't have been happier (which, given his emotional record, is quite a feat) to see things fall apart the way they did. At least the trial had been fair, and he managed to speak on the behalf of those involved in the current "war" as well as the past one - those who couldn't show their heads without the high probability of having them removed. Mariella's own case, he was sadly able to little - if anything - for, yet he was still had a sentence to serve for the trouble he put the nation through. "Crying wolf", as he called it (with a bit of amusement at the irony), left him to serve a five-year sentence in prison, without bail, though visitations were allowed. Honestly, Temo felt he'd gotten off very light despite the regret of being unable to regularly see his family now.
Requiem was delivered a letter shortly after the trial as well. Those who had stayed after the explanation Temo had given were told the results - while there would still be time to serve, similar to his own, they were free of any execution or life sentences should they turn themselves in. As he'd told court, naturally not everyone was going to agree with the terms of their surrender; but a great of the soldiers did (nearly 2/3s of the remaining 500), effectively disbanding what was left of Requiem. Reasons among those who disagreed with the arrangement varied; but Kurohi - Requiem's 2nd in command - was among the soldiers who backed out of the arrangement and made themselves scarce. The threat they posed as an army however, is now practically non-existent.
As for Fenrir Eir, the Aliech Regime has finally been able to confirm his death. His soul, however, has also been discovered to still reside in Erinn - imprisoned eternally to an artifact his "better half" has been watching over. It was decided this was punishment enough, so in regards of his involvement with the war, the sentence for execution was dismissed. Until the situation changes, he is being left to his caretaker upon his release from prison...and whoever's care he is regretably in right now.

- Spoiler:
[[And that's that as far as Temo's involvement in this arc. I would like to take this time to apologize for the time it took to end it (thankfully not as long as the war though 8D;;;; ) and also give another apology to those of jury for Temo's trial and seeing its conclusion. I understand I did not give enough notice to having been present online for that or a notice declaring that time for it had expired; but it did end that Thursday night. Hopefully Mariella's trial and those involved will have a better time of things should she still be planning to go through with it. Also, check your mailboxes tomorrow. I shall be giving all those involved in the trial presents. 8D ]]
