Isold's Abilities!

Isold is a Cat-Dragon Hyrbid, her dragon element being poison, following after her....err...one of her mothers. So her are some abilities for her.

IC Skill Name: Dragon Transformation
Power Class: Racial/Transformation
OOC Representation: Infra Black/Dragon Pets
Description: From her Dragon mother's side, Isold inherited the ability to transform into a dragon, letting her dragon half take dominence. In this form, she grows regular dragon features, however her wings stay small and is unable to fly.
Explain relation: Basic Transformation reskin really?

Power Class: Racial/Elemental/Defensive
OOC Representation: Poison immunity set
Description: Being a Poison Dragon, Isold is immune to poison and venom. She even has a nack for drinking poison and using it as a special "sauce" for her food.
Explain relation: Poison Dragon, Immune to Poison
Notes:Rawr Imma Poison Dragon

IC Skill Name:Poison Claws
Power Class: Physical/Racial
OOC Representation: Poison Daggers/Knuckles.
Description: Being a poison dragon, blah blah blah, Isold's claws are able to poison her enemies.
Explain relation: Poison Dragon, Poison Attacks.
Notes:Rawr Imma poison dragon with poison claws
Level: 1

That's really ALL I can think about at the moment.

IC Skill: Heightened Hearing
Power Class: Sensory
OOC Rep: Roleplay (I use a wig for hair color, so can't have ears on at same time)
Description: Isold inherited Glacia's hearing abilities. "This power is a passive ability Isold has. Half-passive that is. Whilest concentrating/focusing, she is able to block out all noises and focus on a conversation that may be happening in another room or a distance away. Basic rules to this were if I can see it in my Chat Log, then Isold can hear it. Also, while focusing, if a loud piercing noise, like a whistle or explosion goes off, Isold is startled for a brief period of time. About the stun time of an ice bolt. Will give IC notice when Isold starts focusing."
However, it's honed in a bit now, and Isold doesn't need to focus to listen to nonwhispers far away. However, to hear through a door or whispers far away, she has to focus. If not focused, or her ears are covered, far away whispers sound like mumbles and can't be made out properly, but she would still hear the voices. If multiple conversations are going on at once, she can hear them all at the same time, but may only get bits and pieces from all the others except the main one she is listening to. However, if she does this too long, she is suspectable to sensory overload, causing her hearing to shut out for a bit, like when your ears ring.
Explain Relation: Isold has kitty ears like Glacia. Also...I actually don't think this needs approval as it falls under the template Glacia has, and so Isold would take it from that.

Is she immune to ALL types of poison?

Ariya is only immune to animal poisons, so chemical ones still affect her, and should affect Isold, too.

And it's basic poison immunity from...whatever poison immunity gives.Animals ones...sure. Though there isn't a way to tell if the poison on a weapon is animal or herbal...sooooo..she is immune to poisoned weapon poison too I guess?

Well there's not really a way to tell IG, but there's a lot of things that can be considered poisonous to the body, especially in large doses. So it really depends on the person who's using the poison.


Basically, poison herb poison vs snake venom poison.


Being immune to 'weapon' poison won't really work since you can put poison herb poison on the weapon(correct me if I'm wrong here about this.) And the venom sword poison would effect you too, since it's not coated in animal poison(as Soifa stated that's the poison immunity.)

At least, it should effect you IC. Even if you're not poisoned IG because of the set, if you know someone is using poison herb poison, it should still hurt your character IC, ya know?

Instead of doing major damage, like IG poison would if you were poisoned, it would be more like... -feels sick to stomach for a while, doesn't die or anything, just ill-

This would likely be the best way to put it. She would be full immune to animal, and resist it if it were other poison, but not a full immunity. However, as there is no way to tell IG which one it is -after- it's poisoned....sooo....I guess the person will have to say which it is. Constant use of one person saying it's not animal seems fishy as well, since poison potions are rather...hard to get (Rank 3 Potion Making if I'm correct)

But yea, What Soifa said is likely the best way to put it.

Btw, there's also;

potion poison, sulfur poison, and mirage missile poisonings that don't fall under 'animal' poison.

And yeah, it's rank 3 to make, but I see them all the time in player shops. Also, feeding someone poison herb would probably make them sick too.

I'd actually want to say animal and potion poisons are under the immunity, since poison immune set makes you immune to BOTH.

Just not sulfur-based or mirage poisoning.

You can't be potion poisoned(not with a poison potion, but by consuming a lot of potions at a short time) with a poison immunity set?

So Animal and Waepon = immune

Potion Poisoning (potion consumption) and Sulfur poison = resistance, but not a full immunity.

Mirage Missile doesn't poison, it's an effect called Shock.

If it doesn't poison, then it doesn't matter xD. I was only asking in case it poisoned, if it effected it.

Well... the only reason I asked, is because I am sure several people have Mirage as a poison IC. xD

Then it'd fall under "not immune", considering poisoning with mirage tends to be magical in nature, so it'd be more of a..magic poison than an herbal or animal one, I would think.

I still think mirage should just be Elf AIDS.

ELF AIDS. It usually is, but I THINK I remember a power that used regular poison with MM, and if their MP ran out, they "ran out of poison."

Okay. Added the Hearing, which after thinking about, wouldn't really need to be approved since it falls in the mammilian hybrid template, which Glacia used. But since I'm using altered templates, I figured I'd add it as well.

Also changed OOC representation of Isold's dragon form to Dragon pets as well, since I forgot we have them.
