So this is like.. the 2nd week this has happened? Maybe a new thread should be made each week(timestamped and dated), and the rules placed on the first post, so it's easier to tally/the rules will be clear each time what's expected when someone votes. After that week is over, the thread can be moved to a sub thread/bluebin.

This might help clear it up, since the comment of stating that you are expected to say when you vote is somewhere in the middle of this thread. I'm sure not everyone has gone through every page to see that.

We could have the first line of the first post updated with the request when the next poll is placed.

I thought about that, too. But who's going to know to check back on the first page? Even if that's done, and there's a post saying "check the first page" it will still end up being eaten in the other posts to come after it. And it'll just go back to the way this is now.

Maybe if the poll said "POST WHEN YOU VOTE" or something?

Anyway, I'd add it myself, but that'd reset the votes I think, so I won't. Figure it'll just make people upset to have to vote all over again.


But, why exactly do we have to post when we vote? Not quite sure what it does for us.

I don't think it's too late for re-voting. It's only Wednesday, and it's just a click. But that's neither here nor there.

And I guess some people think that people will vote with no intention to participate, just to swing the poll in their favor/their friends favor. That's my understanding, at least.

I think saying when we vote is stupid. But it only takes a second, so it's not a big enough deal to say something about it.

Either way I won't reset it. I didn't make the poll and I won't make the decision.
