It was posted a while back, because it was FUNNY, and the post is becoming more for funny pics and videos, not just pics.

And perhaps you should learn Durp before thinking I'm calling you something that is more of an expression than a noun.

Been there, done that. -yawns- XD (I am kidding, in case you didn't know. But I already tried that.)

The first about the moat was more a question. Should I get water or lava for a moat around my castle. Or maybe I should line the sides with netherrack and create a fire moat....hmm

Lava. Surrounded by three blocks large netherack poolside on fire... so that we can't see the lava lake and jump right into it while trying to go through the burning netherrack. xD

If I start playing.. I want to make a castle in the sky with a lavafall.

The would require....a TON of Netherrack....but seems so evil... My Castle is quite large around, took like 3 stacks of Stone to do one go around I think, maybe two. Yea, like two. But Lava would be fun, would kill the mobs that like spawning around my Castle.

And I have thought about the castle in the sky. I might make one as a mini fort. Would require a safe landing to get matierals...

I've legitly built a lava house in the sky, underwater fort =D. Ohh.. and I colonize mountains =-D not using TNTs *_* Keep those away I am worse than creepers.

Ohhh... and one of my personal favorites.... a monster jail =D Not to be confused with a monster trap *_* I had a dark spot with a monster spawner, and water slide down to where my house was. Note: Don't poke creepers with a stick.

I've built a few structures up in the sky, nothing fancy mind you, and I have seen videos of people doing it as well. The only real issue I have with it is the clouds and the decrease in visibility. Other then that it's awesome sight from afar.

Traps on the other hand I have not had too much experience in using or making them. Normally I just make a murder hole basement for that kind of thing. I use to burn parts of the forest down but they fixed that little glitch that left burning wood behind. I loved doing that as it always gave me tons of drops. More then I knew what to do with xD

You can get tons of seeds, saplings, wood, and wheat quite easily.

Animal based goods are a pain to acquire, except for wool and feathers.

By the way, I learned this the hard way. Do NOT left click on a wolf. EVER. Also, don't feed them meat. You'd think they would like that, but for some reason, it doesn't work. Feed them a bone (RIGHT CLICK!). And also, if you pick a fight with one, make sure there aren't about...4 more lurking behind rocks or dirt or trees or etc. >>;;;

You need between one and five bones on average to "tame" the wolves. Getting them to cooperate is quite difficult, and having them sit makes them easier to work with.

Hey everyone! I've got some awesome news! And it's even related to this topic! Ooooo! I founda Kaly hiding in a hole in Minecraft! Just minding my own business and BAM! There she was hiding from the creepers. Well for those of you who remember Kaly(Kalypstra for those of you who don't) she has her own MC server and Ventrilo. So if anyone wishes to make a nice summer house on her server feel free to drop me a PM here on the forums and I shall "hook you up." xD

For those interested, I am subscribed to someone who holds contests to win free minecraft codes for those interested in playing but can't afford/purchase the actual game. The user is ZackScottGames. I've been following for a while. He has his own MC Server, but only let's select people he knows play on it. But overall, it's quite interesting how much progress is done in the server.

Oh yea I'm subbed to him too. He is pretty awesome, but I haven't watched to many of his MC videos. Mostly just Super Meat Boy and one or two others. I'd be more then happy to join the contest to win the code for whomever wants it. Just post here if you're interested.

Off-Topic: It's cool that he finally completely beat Super Meat Boy, minus the SMW levels.

On-Topic: There you go, two people willing to help you all get a code for Minecraft if you all are interested. And quite honestly Kaye, I'm surprised at how much work has been done on his server. And that work is STILL being done.

So.. I finished making a gigantic rollercoaster, through flying, flaming arrows, lave floes, waterfalls.. Q_Q

I haven't played a lot lately, but I've made something super fun around a zombie spawner. I encaged the spawner in a huge obsidian cage (woo redundance) of about 30x30x30, put two doors from my base to see, and covered the floor in burning Netherack :3

Watching zombies burn to death continuously is... Very funny if you're bored xD

Totally should have made it glass instead if Obsidian, much easier to see and watch.

Obsidian doesn't blow up when creepers spawn up there, too >.>
