Official Minecraft Topic!

As most of us are aware, a portion of the guild plays minecraft. So.. why not somewhere to talk about it, share videos, screenshots of our work, and.. what not?

What is Minecraft? Minecraft is an open world sandbox game, with no real goal. You can build houses, destroy everything you see, or simply explore the world. Of course, you can always find more Info at minecraft.net.

I've played minecraft personally since Alpha. Around September. I was previously a heavy dwarf fortress player, so.. This game appealed to me greatly. I more or less take on a role of a bridge architect, or a road master. I have a road fetish fascination. Because.. Roads help you find your way in the world.. Or something.

Well, we were gonna replace the Vindi board for an all game board. We'll do that soon so you can discuss it there? And then maybe when I create something new instead of blowing it up I can post a picture, then blow it up. =D

I think Xeek came up with this idea before, but...private RPS server? For...RPing? O_o

...and...if this happens, do we have to change up the guild banner? Instead of RP Society of Tarlach, just like...RP Society? Or something? Do we have to go that far?

What do you mean? I am sure they were both closed for me, I specifically remember being stuck But I might have put just one door. What you can do, is put a secret lever somewhere. Or a button to change the value. I'll test this out.



Also, yes my idea was to get RP in minecraft. But, then I thought, some maps might be too big for an RP. Specially with my burning desire to explore.

So I was thinking we can download a premade map, for scenery and plotline. While Rping in a full world would be fun, Rping in a premade map like "Survival Island" would be fun. Stranded in an island, surviving.

Okay so.. I'm bored and since I like screwing around in the game I did a player command XXXX.

I spanwed like 2 ghasts... then 100...then OVER9000.

My game's been frozen for a good like.. 10 minutes now.. XDD;;;

I sadly do not have the full version yet. So I've been making due with sandbox mode. If the server comes up, please, tell me so I can join!

I think this is an awesome idea. And yes one of the mods will certainly move this to the proper location once it's updated! I have yet to actually play much on Multiplayer servers. But I look forward to seeing everyone if we go through with this!

All this talk about Minecraft lately, and then after watching a Minecraft Let's play(kinda)....it's making me want to get it. I think I am going to get it soon, but will need help knowing where to go to get it and updates and such. If someone wants to post like links to where to download for those who don't have it, that would be appriciated.

I only play MineCraft when I want to drive Aura insane. I have a tendency to talk a little bit while I explore and stuff. And it doesn't help that I get a little freaked when I turn around in a cave and a creeper is right there! Or walking down a dark corridor and I get hit by a stray arrow! Yea I scream a little bit... xD

DUDDDEEEE! My girlfriend pops my ear drum X_X. I get a little scared too, but she like... SCREAMS. One time her parents rushed in to make sure she was okay xD

I don't blame anyone for getting scared in that game... things just go up behind you Q_Q specially creepers and SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

When I showed Dalvar Minecraft at my house she does the SAME thing...

I'd play minecraft, but I got a hard time getting ahold of anything. So it might take me a while to actually get the game. I've played it before and found it very addicting though. It's fun raising a barn and then herding creepers into it.

I've been letting Dalvar play on my account. She's been going wild at it. xD It's fun to listen to her flail about creepers and pigs and farming.

I can't wait for the wolf update!

Oh dude... my girlfriend blows my ear out X_X specially when they creep up on her. Then again,I jump too when they do xD

Oh yeah. Minecraft is one off the few games I legitimately get scared at. Especially since you can get a game over at any second, no matter what you're wearing or carrying. = w=

Soooo simple.... yet so intense *_* it sort of reminds me of runescape. Hope it doesn't turn like it.
