Minecraft role playing idea.

Also Mo's creature > Hard core. Though, with all the new stuff. Even that might be easy :<

I think either post apocalyptic or a shipwreck would work the best for the over all theme.

Mo' Creatures' spawn rate is going crazy for servers atm. So yeah... I don't like being stuck with eight Satans at night .___.

Can't you choose what gets summoned and not through the options?

Well, it'll definantly be harder xD. The original minecraft is too easy. Though, I would suggest to start out you dig burrows. If an ogre aggroos you, your house is gone.

It's not impossible though xD we'll need to set server rules. Like "No stealing while a player is offline".
Specially now with the food bar, we'll need to be better at survival. Sure, Mo's creature's monsters drop beef and such, but they are not all friendly. And at night time, you better have enough food since there is no sleeping in multiplayer unless everyone agrees.

Alrighty then. I'm proceeding to installing the XXXX on the server. I want to test out this messed up spawning rate before anything x_x

Is it that bad? I don't think it should be that bad. I mean, I played with everything maxed out, and it looked more realistic than anything xD Animals everywhere

It is horrible x_x Even with the lowest spawning rate, I get murderfied at night. But if you want, it could be Hard mode. Meaning mobs do twice as much damage and have a buttload of health xD Also, bukkit makes me crash x_x

Don't use it then? I think Mo's creature took out SMP without bukkit. I'd have to check to verify. But we can put it on easy or normal, at least to start

I've seen videos of the spawn rate. It's pretty high, but I think with enough people it should be fine. Satan's are tough, but not unbeatable. Heck with a iron sword it only takes like 3 hits.

Is that a new monster? O-o

We can always add Mo' Creatures later.

I guess.. specially since potion making came out. But in my opinion, even on hard this is too easy.
Before I used to run home at night, now I just chill and hang out, still run a bit from skeletons, but everything else (even endermen and creepers) are easier.

Do think that there will be more than only you harvesting goods and minerals, though. So stuff will be more rare.

Only hard resources will be red stone and diamond. Iron is no longer an issue. Beside, with these NPC villages, you don't have to do much xD But if you all want to be wimps *_*

It's okay Aura xD We don't play without you (least I won't xD) I think we should wait for things to stabilize. It's laggy for me to play for now. And I am on a minecraft strike since with one of the updates my world got deleted :< I had so much none cheating stuff.

Sounds cool. I felt bad being away from you guys when I get a Minecraft addiction attack.

Also, if we can get some other mods installed on the server, like IndustrialCraft2, and BuildCraft, and the Planes XXXX by Flan, and maybe RedPower2 when it comes out, we might really have something awesome there.

But probably more than a few people will be against the gameplay changes introduced by these mods, so I shan't get my hopes up.

If there's a whitelist (there should be, imo), add Misticblade7 to it.

Mods are cool. Especially if you go with a post apocalyptic theme. There's room for just about everything there.

Some mods are game breaking. Like some of the new updates.

Some other mods attempt to remove "chores" by making things easier. But part of the game is to build your own contraption. Who cares if they take so much space and time, that's the fun of it.
