Born in the North District of Archosaur, she was mainly cared for by her family's servants and taught by her parents, but she was raised alone. The solitude was punishing for her, because her father was a servant for her family when her mother cheated her husband for her father. Because of the adultery, her father was cast out of the family and was humiliated at the docks of Archosaur. Since the husband loved his wife to much to disgrace her and leave her upset because of his obsession about her, he grants her one request to help her feel less hurt about it. The mother chose Jacquelyn, keeping her daughter from being cast out to sea in exile. That choice left Jacquelyn's father to sail the seas, never to return as he was banished from Archosaur. Throughout her early childhood, she grew up to try and get approval from her surrogate father, but was in vain because she was labeled a "bastard child of servitude." In her juvenile stage, she was pretty much a daddy's girl ever since she received one praise from her surrogate father for not spending too much on clothes. One night, she lost her father's trust when she was caught smuggling her lover into the house. She was given multiple chances of losing the lover and stay single until she leaves the house, but Jacquelyn stubbornly continued her "daily sin" as her surrogate father puts it. As a price, both Jacquelyn and her lover were separated by her surrogate father; her lover was carted off north to Human territories while she was dragged southwest into Winged Elf territories. Until two years before her adulthood, she studied under the tutelage of Ming of the City of Plume. One night, she was awakened by Ming to be sent off to Battlemark Village, northeast of the City of Plume for the final stretch in her studies into the Clerical Arts. Two years later, she graduated from Director Tsan and was sent off into the world with meager equipments and a supply chest.
