Guild Meeting Occurance

Apologies for not posting this immediately. RL came up.

How often do you guys want to meet for the guild meetings with councilors, mentors, and the soon to be established EC/CL team? Give us a heads up, and we'll write it into law.

I'm giving you the ability to choose one option, that way I don't need to ask you all to post that you voted, as some weren't really listening in the first place. Good voting from this point forward, all! This will be up for 7 days!

I voted monthly, but I think for now(while things are being started) it should be more often. 2-weeks so we can accurately discuss our issues.

I did put every 2 weeks, but a month is just as good to me. It really depends on what's 'going on' in the guild. If everything is chill and quiet, monthly is good. But if there's a lot of activity, new members, changes, issues, and stuff like that, then I feel it should be more.

Guild is changing a lot as of late, so I think every two weeks would be nice to sit and get the updates on whats happening. A month seems too long a wait time, and a week would be too often.

In the future, I can see it going to maybe every three weeks?

Still voting on monthly. Anything less feels kinda too short for a good deal of things to happen for discussion, anything longer feels like there isn't ENOUGH discussion going on. So...yeah. A month.

Since I haven't really been around, I'm not going to vote in this poll; although, I will voice my opinion given the information I have access to on this thread.

Starting the meetings off on a two week (bi-monthly) schedule with a plan to eventually make them monthly sounds like the best option.

Voted on every two weeks, with the following thoughts in the back of my mind:

1. Once per week sounds too taxing for both parties, members and staff alike, despite the meetings would not take so much time at all. It is just the possibility to be mindboggling and getting a bad thought as in "what, a meeting AGAIN?" which would devalue the entire thing.
   
2. Once per month might feel too long, considering that guild meetings can be well used to have an open talk about new members (even if they are in said meeting. That is why it is open talking) and how the guild feels they have set in.
   
3. Especially now, since things are still being reorganized, holding meetings more often is a good thing to keep in touch with everyone to fetch all the thoughts and news. Perhaps in the future, it can be set to once per month, but for now I get the feeling of necessity in regards to information flow and feedback from the guild.
   
4. People should NOT start to think; "each guild meeting cuts away X amount of my time". They should not start to think, that each meeting ALWAYS will take a minimum of 30 minutes or crap like that. If the staff members are done saying what they want to say (if at all) and if the members are done on their end (if applicable) then the meeting is done and closed and everyone gets on their merry way. Too often people get the impression that if a meeting is in place, that they NEED to say things even if they don't actually want. I've seen guild meetings being done in 5 minutes, because there was not much to say and only little news.
   
5. Guild meetings can start making social things happening! I mean, considering that a lot of people are already in the same spot, and even if the meeting is short, if they are already HERE then at the end one can ask what we are going to do now that we have the lot together and going from there, having gatherings more often, can't be a bad thing :3

I voted for every two weeks, at least for now. As it has been said before, in times of reorganization (or heavy activity) it would be better to hold a meeting every two weeks since there would be more things to discuss. Of course, when activity goes back to a somewhat more stable state, a monthly meeting would be much more valid.

Any preference, preferably not the 4th? And preferably at a time no later than 7pm start?

Doubt I'll be able to be that frequent in attendance due to class assignments, but we'll see. Not getting my hopes up.
