A (stupid) letter..

Hung up in each city is a letter with a basket of gems under it. There is someone by it, guarding to make sure only one gem is taken per-person.

Upon reflection, and realizing that she gave all of her precious gems away, Aura started to feel really bad. There was still someone else she needed to apologize to, personally, and went to bake a cake.

A letter is posted directly under Aura's, no gem is taken, as gems are largely useless to the author. Again, the one posting the note is a purple dragoness, who did not write the note.

If it's any consolation, sorry for trying to take your tail.

Dalvar looked at the note, then at the gems, then back at the note.
She left without taking one, boot heels clicking against the cobbles.

Nevertheless, several hours later Aura received a small bag of heart-shaped sugar cookies with pink frosting and a note.

(( Yes, things posted in the Bulletin usually refer to things that have happened/will happen in game. It's normal to be a little confused if you weren't there for these things.

An individual in a bright red suit walks up to the bulletin board, offering a fake smile to the guard standing next to a small bag. He turns his eyes to the note, hmphs lightly, then glances into the bag.

No one has offended me recently, but why ignore their generosity, he thought to himself. After all, I lose nothing from this.

The man pockets what appears to be the prettiest gem in the back and, after offering the guard another plastered smile, slicks his ginger hair back and walks back off to take care of a business matter.

Though Hyuponia's wandering ways took him far and wide, it was quite some time before he stumbled across one of the boards again. This one in particular was a visit to Emain Macha. While on a hunt for new toys and gizmos to play with Mariella, he noticed this odd spectacle. Approaching the board he goes to read Aura's message, and then briefly kneels to rifle through her gemstones to find any remaining diamonds. He would be needing it for something...

It was sometime later that Auramune would recieve a brief letter, unsigned. The handwriting may however prove familiar enough.

"This act did not go unnoticed. I hope you two are doing well for yourselves."

Along with this letter is a package. Inside, is a golden necklace, with the diamond Hyuponia had pilfered in an ornate, but tastefully moderate setting.

"Gale" had been wandering through Bangor to begin his first day of work when he noticed the guard and package near the bulletin board. Curious, he stepped over to take a peek himself. He didn't bother to take a gem - tempting and tasty as they appeared, he felt he didn't deserve such a gesture. As soon as able though, he wrote a small letter in return:

For what it is worth, I also want to apologize to you and Xeek. I and my other hope you, him, and your children find peace and happiness.

(The letter had no written signature, but instead a red musical sharp-note marked at the bottom of the page.)
