If it weren't so lag/crashy, this would be one of the most hardcore PVP games around. But the developers are working fast as they can to fix that. According to them and players, this happened when they came to Steam and had such a huge increase in players, so...here's hoping things get better soon.

Anyways, game is...probably one of the more harsher things I've played. It's been compared a lot to Dragon's Dogma and Dark Souls. Free to Play, PVP, and...like I said, harsh. Think your basic MMO, where you hack and slash your way through dungeons. Then add players being able to attack and kill you in these dungeons. Now after THAT, add in the factors of running like hell to resurrect your soul/running from Reapers, and possible perma-deaths for your character should you fail. :I

This is a game where you really don't want to find yourself alone in a dark all. Or dark, dank dungeon. On the other hand, players who kill and steal from others (or NPCs) find themselves branded as outlaws and get bounties put on them. So PKers eventually screw themselves over like that when they got a bunch of folks after them. That kind of thing. And then of course, there's the dangerous dungeon mobs to make things that much more difficult at every turn for everybody.

Character creation is somewhat D&D-ish, down to the races and racial abilities and specialties. Designs leave a bit to be desired; but at least the fashions aren't TOO bad. And...I guess that's about all I have to say on it right now. I've only started on the levels where players can kill each other, so I'll let you know how that turns out when I find time to get into it.

Ciao.

I was laughing my head off when people were mistaking it with Wizards 101. Still wonder what some of the responses are when they try it out... X3
