Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 is coming in a few days. Don't know who will and won't be trying, but Hyu talked me into trying it. I don't regret it. Buy-to-play and updating. So once you get it, you have it. The best MMO I have played in my life.

Again, I don't know who's interested, but I will be informing everyone that the community-voted unofficial RP server is Tarnished Coast. The game, size-wise, is incredible and includes deep-sea exploration. Have a friend who joined a different world? No worries, you can hop onto their server and play with them at your leisure--but Tarnished Coast is the RP server/hub. Anyway. this is all.

I actually think it's kind of over-rated..

I just really like the fact that gathering materials for crafting, crafting, exploring and just killing stuff are all rewareded equally (With exp). It gives the game this rewarding feeling when you actually go do stuff like fully exploring a map, or crafting a decent piece of equipment or even just complete daily tasks. =P

But maybe that's just me being happy that this game quenched my thirst for exploration and adventure. xD

Mithos should hop servers to Tarnished Coast.

And yes, the game really rewards exploration. There are also quite a few jumping puzzles, which are interesting.

Inb4 WvW ends up pitting our two servers together. Though I love my WvW group, Arctic Bandits. We blitz and ambush things then run out. We rarely wipe.

Also! For those that don't know:

That little name.numbers thing actually makes it so that if someone tries to contact you with one character name, and you're on an alt on that account, it'll automatically send it to that alt. The same goes for guilds. They're account wide! Mail can be picked up by any character as well!

It doesn't bother me so much, as long as the pop culture sticks to jokey stuff like dance emotes and out of the plot and meat of the game. Which, I believe, it does. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Asura story line, one of the "Golems" you fight is called the OVR-9000.

But the MEAT of the story is free of pop-culture. Me and a few guildies are actually getting interested by the story my Asura is going through.

Oh, well, that is slightly vexing.
But I'm sure I'll get over it.

Well it's for a Golem-fighting tournament. It was just a tidbit to add humor to it I believe.

Overall, the story -is- rather good, it's got me interested for sure.

Kids around the world also make a lot of "Your mama" jokes when talking to each other. Especially Asura >_>

This is true. As a matter of fact, the Mac Beta Client is out and the final release is going to be very, very soon.

As it stands, if you buy a windows copy of GW2 and use that serial key, you can download and play the mac beta client. It *is* the complete game, and your character data will be preserved. It's a beta *client*, not the game's actual testing.
