Re: Satch's Geass
Sorry. Can't approve until I'm 100% sure all disapprovals are gone. I find it rude to approve something in the middle of someone possibly having a concern.

Sorry, was doing other things unless people bugged me. Meant to get back to it today, but I've been away from the computer since around 12 pm. You kinda clarified your edit 2, but said what my misunderstanding's 'success rate' looked like. Clarify actual?

I am not sure what you mean by this xD; So, I'll explain Edit 2 again.Dellinger wrote:Sorry, was doing other things unless people bugged me. Satch's geass has a 75percent of working on anyone looking directly at his eye, though the dome still activates, and even if they are looking at his eye, the dome must touch them in order for it to work.
For those hit by the dome that have their eyes closed, they are turned around, or not facing him, they have a 50percent chance of falling under the geass.
Keep in mind, the numbers are only if the target player decides to 'leave it up to chance', but they have full control if it works on them.
Also, these are normal questionings, Soifa, the disapproval is removed.
The implications of the limitations you have started to set on this bring this down from a possible FEC due to the concerns of abuse / high-chance of paralysis being addressed. My disapproval is removed for now while some clarifications are asked for. -nods-

So if the player agrees to leave it to chance, how do you plan on determining whether it succeeds or not? Whether you like it or not, this is beginning to seem like something that might require dice rolling in order to fairly determine the outcome.

You seem to misunderstand my problem with dice rolling, but to the main point, they can use their own dice, or flip a coin, or pick 3 numbers from 0-10.
What ever method they pick, I know I can trust them, since they can just choose not to be affected.

Ah, alright. Was hoping it wasn't a "I say it succeeds/fails" sorta thing.

Oh, okay then.
Xeek's going to trust people. How silly.
Alright, I'll offer my approval now and exit.

Approval for now, but it this needs to be revised further, we'll re-open it. Sound good?

I am guessing that means 'if'? And aren't all threads done as such? *nods*

Re: Satch's Geass
Yep, that was an "if." Sorry, my minds been entirely in a fog this entire day and I'm not really functioning properly. It's basically the "I'll approve, but if there's a loophole for abuse in there that we've missed, it'll be re-opened." Certainly for all, but as earlier things did seem a bit FEC-y.... well, it never hurts to remind people. Like everyone I remind ever about everything because I'm just anal about that sort of thing. =P

Re: Satch's Geass
Even if I secretly made it the most powerful skill in the world,
it only last 9 seconds(at most), and the targeted player gets to decide whether or not it work on him. Not to mention 3+ times of use, my character will be on his knees nearly dying a bit more, and he will die.
So~ who wants to give the final approval?

I can see that, but they also don't want to say anything. So I shall keep bumping once a day. One day they'll approve.. one day... *echos*

As I've said before, I'm trying to hold off on approvals for the time being. But my job is my job.. approved.
