Biography: Kanai is the grandson of Cor's elder, Kousai. Since his youngest age, he has trained with Waboka and Kunka (Waboka's brother) at archery and melee combat. His own grandfather taught him how to use magic, mainly magical shields. At the tender age of 13, he went, along with Waboka and Kunka, to the Lappa Village to test their own skills. Unfortunately, Kunka was killed by the hobgoblins. Waboka and Kanai taking the blame for his death are both still haunted by their horrible mistake. Kanai soon became a renowned archer, thought to be wise and strong, arboring all the qualities a leader would need. At 18, he became the leader of the Rafting Expedition. The expedition's purpose was to destroy every hobgoblin settlement along the Suytu River to prevent them from crossing over to the jungle. The mission was a huge success and Kanai was once again praised for his abilities as a leader. Every week after that expedition, a squad of six members was sent rafting down the river to observe the hobgoblin's behavior and settlements. An expedition was formed every time they threathened to cross the river to prevent such a thing. Finally, when Kousai saw that he was getting old and may not be the best leader for the Cor Village anymore, he appointed Kanai, age 26, as a co-leader until he would pass away.
