"Your Stupid"?
My stupid what?

Your throws of death send me into throes of amusement.

You can diffuse a bomb, but defusing it might be a better idea.

I before E except after C or when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh. Unless it's weird.

Yours is not mine. You're means you are.

"Thru" is only a word if you're referring to getting a hamburger in your car.

Rouge is a color. Rogue isn't.

Per se means of itself. Per say is only how you pronounce it.

A horde is a large group, often unruly. To hoard is to gather things together. Often references dragons.

Fire is fiery. Burn all misspellings.

Et cetera does not abbreviate to ect., ecc., or et. Etc.

E.G. means for example, and I.E. means that is. I.E., always be correct.

You should definitely spell definitely definitely.

If you spelled it with a D, you definitely wouldn't deserve a congratulations.

A lot is two words. Allot means to distribute.

Over there, they're studying their dictionaries. You should too.

So after the basics lets flesh things some shall we?

Did you fall prey to some of the classic pitfalls of a beginner.

One of the best in the army/navy/air force/Benegeserit/jedi/etc
super mega powers and over the top effects
No repercussions for actions or events that were out of the ordinary

So what is a workable background then?

Its OK to be above average or the best at something BUT not everything and there are always consequences and penalties in real life so to in you character
A 2 dimensional character is OK as a starting point BUT always add that little extra to give it some life and personality of its own.
You can borrow characters from anywhere BUT make them your own by changing a few things that you find easier to deal with as the person playing the part.

How do I make a playable first time character then?

Look at yourself in the mirror and change just few things that you can easily remember and almost be yourself.
Play the part of your invisible friend or that imaginary brother or uncle.

In all things keep it simple.

With practise it will slowly become second nature and you can be able to pull off more outlandish or just very difficult (to play the part of) personae.

...........................

Special note about pets.
They are no different except now you have extra opportunities here.
An animal thats smarter than before or a human reincarnated as a furry or something else? rendeer

I hope I'm not overstepping by bounds by providing:

19 Rules for Good Writing
  1. Each pronoun agrees with their antecedent.
  2. Just between you and I, case is important.
  3. Verbs has to agree with their subject.
  4. Watch out for irregular verbs which has cropped up into our language.
  5. Don’t use no double negatives.
  6. A writer mustn’t shift your point of view.
  7. When dangling, don’t use participles.
  8. Join clauses good like a conjunction should.
  9. And don’t use conjunctions to start sentences.
  10. Don’t use a run-on sentence you got to punctuate it.
  11. About sentence fragments.
  12. In letters themes reports articles and stuff like that we use commas to keep strings apart.
  13. Don’t use commas, which aren’t necessary.
  14. Its important to use apostrophe’s right.
  15. Don’t abbrev.
  16. Check to see if you any words out.
  17. In my opinion I think that the author when he is writing should not get into the habit of making use of too many unnecessary words which he does not really need.
  18. Then, of course, there’s that old one: Never use a preposition to end a sentence with.
  19. Last but not least, avoid clichés like the plague.

Also... there's the rule that my sophomore English teacher taught me in 1993:

A lot is the opposite of a little, you should allot time to understanding this, and there is never such a thing as 'alot.'
