OOC Skill: Awakening of Light, Spear of Light, Fury of Light, Shadow Spirit. AKA Demigod skills
Description: By tapping into her inner power, Vira is capable of undergoing a transformation she calls Monoshift. In this form, her appearence changes, giving her wings and makings along her face and body. While in this form, her endurance and speed are greatly increased, and she is able to use special abilities she could not normally use. However, she cannot stay in this form forever, and will revert out of it after a set time or when she feels like ending it before said time.
Explain Relation: Demi and all it's stuff is as is, nothing new.

Power Type: Flight, transformation
OOC: "Spread Wings", otherwise the floating action thing with wings; Mana shield; Black Angel Wings
Description: Using her inner power, Vira is capable of summoning just her wings without the full Monoshift. While like this, she can hover or float above the ground. However, she can't do this for long, as she uses mana to float.
Explain relation: Wings used to fly. Yada yada. Mana shield used to show drain, when mana shield ends, she can't float no mo'
Power Level: 0

Just things I felt like making. Basically the wings are like half of the demi, and the Angel Wings I have are used to show them. So yes, the Wings themselves can be seen as part of the Winged Flight request. If this gets approved or not, I'm fine either way.

Why does new!Glacia have magic angel power things?

It was just how I wanted to bring the wings and Demigod IC.

Vira is basically Glacia reborn, and has all of Glacia's innate power within her body, just locked away. Basically Monoshift taps into that power, and provides her with the said boost.

The wing thing was just sidethinking at the last second, I am perfectly fine not having it.

As for the appearence change of the ability, that's from the actual power coursing through the body. Basically aethetics and looks explained.

Didn't you tell us that, due the way she died, the chances of her powers coming back were slim to none?

Fancy powers yes.

This isn't the fancy powers, this is like RAW power, like actual power power.

When I said her powers not coming back, I meant all the fancy tricks and spells.

As stated, just thought of this as a way to make Demi IC for her. I'm perfectly fine if it's just not really falling into place, and needs to be scrapped.

You also said you'd provide the IC reasoning for Vira..or glacia...getting powers that were not the mammallian template back.

To be honest, angel wings I'm fine with because glacia didn't have that power before she boom'd herself, and Vira could've learned it herself, but I'm not comfortable giving Vira back demigod so soon.

So maybe she is able to get the wings, but not the full demi?

That, I would be fine with at the time.

It's not a skill you just magically have out of nowhere.

The only other thing I could think of would be that her body is capable of growing wings when she wishes, due to her scarred soul maybe?

Look, what I'm saying is that someone doesn't just randomly learn how to grow wings. Especially from their soul getting scarred. You lose things from injuries, not gain them.

I need a good answer for how and why she has these powers before I can approve.

If she's a cat/fox type mammal, why would she have wings grown in?

I'd be fine with mana wings that weren't physical? If that makes sense. Sort of like demi style wings, with no physical form. Just not actual wings sprouting from her back with feathers xD. I'm under the impression that it's a sprouting wings, not magically formed wings of magicness.

Well, I just took into account Glacia never had wings, and was never anything that had wings in a past life.


Unless she turns into a Sylveon and Sylveon turns out the be flying type. Then I guess it would make SOME since..but only if the wings were ribbons.

They are mana wings. It's like the wings in Demi, without the actual Demi.

That is what I intended on it being, yes. She uses her...power I guess....to form wings of mana. Hence the Mana drain. She is unable to fully go into demi though, only grow the wings.

But to confirm once more, she is growing wings of MANA, not actual feathered wings. That'd be cool, but no. They look like a physical appearence, but they are mana. Ethereal maybe, like you could put your hand through them?

Magically growing wings is not a common skill in Erinn. Where did she learn this unusual skill?
From what you have said in this thread, it is the little bit of her Demi she can use.
This will not work. By your own promise to the council, she should not be able to use any part of her demi at all.

Her old demi was something not demi at all. If you go and read the power, you'll see. Demi was just used in showing it.

THIS is basically IC new demi. But since regetting demi is iffy for most, she isn't unlocking her demi abilities, but rather being able to produce magical wings, akin to the actual look of OOC Demi. But rather than it being "power of the gods," it's more of a sudden boost in power/energy. However, due to not being fully able to perform said boost, this is all she is able to perform for now, and instead of a boost, it slowly drains her magic.

Alright, here's my beef.

Any power--any power at *all*--tied to the old Glacia, as is my understanding here, shouldn't be allowed because FEC. Not even a shred of that old power should be tapped into, not even for flight or even aesthetics. Glacia's power--100% of it--is gone. You'll have to find, not only an appropriate answer to *how* as you've been doing, but a why--why Vira has any of this at all ever.
