Late-Night Deliveries

[[ Mini-Event in spirit of the holidays, but nothing really special otherwise. Don't have to pay it any mind or act things out IC if you don't wanna. Happy Holidays, everybody! ]]

All the deliveries had been made to the workshop and by evening, they were ready to be shipped out. The strangest thing was, there was no report of shipments being made in the night by any of the trade posts or even guards watching the towns. Just the odd jingling of bells that came and went in a matter of seconds. By the next morning however, citizens all over Erinn would wake to find gift-wrapped boxes in their homes - one per resident. Most contained toys of sorts: hand-carved figurines, game boards, puppets, plushies of legendary characters or perhaps someone close that the residents knew in their lifetimes, building blocks, trinkets and jewelry, music boxes, toy weapons and the list goes on. Not everybody was given something as pleasant though. Some individuals, those known for being particularly rotten in behavior, would find odder things upon opening their gifts - coal, garbage herbs, platters of charred food, fish bones and such.

When it was learned that a number of the things had been shipped from in Emain Macha and Bangor, a small investigation was run; but the trail ran cold in Tir Chonaill. Literally. The trading post there mentioned a team of imps picking up deliveries a few days ago and taking them north to Sidhe Sneachta; but no tracks or place where everything could be stashed was found.

To those who assisted in escorts with deliveries, a secondary present would be find waiting in their homes with the following: a toy soldier holding a bottle of medicine and a "Get well soon!" card to Crow, a small box of mint tea to Danielle, a pair of wood-carved figurines to Miya (king and queen), and last but not least - pendant with an aquamarine-cut dragon for a decoration.

As Crow stared at the soldier he began to have a warm feeling in his belly. Smiling happily at the figure. He slipped it into a small pocked on his bag so it can be shown off to all that sees him!
