The Recorded Thoughts of a Mortal Man

Sighing, Sain sat down on the couch. Looking outside the window, he smiled as his kids ran around outside throwing snowballs. Looking across from himself, he saw a picture his adoptive father had drawn. It was of him and his mother, Karu, on the day he found out that she was his new mother. After closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he picked up a pen.
"Forgive me, all of you. I've been hard to deal with in the past. I understand that... Now I will make sure that what needs to be said, is written. That way, it can always be remembered."
Sain then looked at a notebook on the table in front of him. He picked it up, and opened it. He wrote on the first page, "The Recorded Thoughts of a Mortal Man." After that, he flipped the page and began to write...

Dear Birth Parents...
I fricking hate you. You took your only son to Emain Macha and abandoned him in an alley. What's worse is that you had him convinced you were dead! I cannot believe the amount of times I went to that wretched, zombie infested town to find you guys. Thanks for telling me you escaped, oh King and Queen of Suck it. I'm glad you're dead. If it weren't for that Elf who adopted me because his mom wanted grandchildren and he believed taking care of children would be wonderful, I probably would have died out there! So screw you guys. You missed out on the real me. I'm so happy that I got adopted. It's been greater than anything I bet you could have given me. I'm married to a beautiful woman, and I have three wonderful children with her. I have friends, and rich adoptive parents. I'm a Knight. Maybe I'll become a hero before I die. Either way, the only thing I thank you for... is having enough of a primitive mindset to have a child.... I'm glad I'm a better parent than you guys were. I'm glad to say I became a blond haired blue eyed sexy daddy without you to guide me. I'm glad to say... I never needed you.

Closing the book, he took a deep breath.
