That's kind of dumb. It's not a rule(not it should be one), when you are requesting something, you are requesting to have it, not a chance to have it. He can roll if he wants, I just don't think he needs to.

This is kind of what I am talking about... what is the point of requesting a power a certain way if you aren't going to get it that way?
I understand enchants have a success rate, but you don't get the approval to TRY and have a power, you get the approval to HAVE the power. Before he requested it, he could have attempted to enchant his items all he wanted, but since it's not approved, it won't be work.

I'd like to bump my point. As I still do not agree he needs to roll. Yes, I understand enchanting has a success rate, but that is done IC, and it's up to him to decide if it works or not.

When I noted that to Jabbs she said that rolling was to give a little work to creating the items as apposed to virtually spawning items and tools as needed.

Which would mean someone could keep saying .
Which I guess makes sense...sometimes. But then, no matter what situation you get your character into, you can say "nope" to dying or something, even though people constantly go "Sometimes you have to live with the consequences" or something.

Yes, so then just have it so people can roll themselves.

The colors being present at a roll help keep people from whining about the results or something like that. Then we don't get "He rolled this!" "Nuh uh, I rolled a that!"

Though, screenshots submitted by both parties should work, imo. >_______>

I disagree, people could keep rolling until they get what they want. Which is why it's easier to just have colors roll for them. If you need a roll, approach us in game, as others already have. Those who have have gotten their rolls instantly. Anyway, I know 3/4 succeeded for this, so is this thread staying here until you can roll the 4th?

So? It's OUR (their) power, we should decide how we want it to work, not luck. Also, you are basically saying you do not trust us. Color names are not most trusted than other members.
And if they keep rolling, what is the point of this? To stall their power?


Also, it's not a rule. So he does NOT have to roll. No matter what your opinion is or what you disagree with. If you really disagree with it, make it a rule, not your opinion.

All enchants, and I mean ALL, the ENTIRE power, will have to be disapproved from this point on until it is confirmed that either a color rolled for you, or you used the shared dice roller thing that Jab uses for the AU rolling.

Rolling requires color presence, or use of the shared dice roller. If you do not adhere to the requirements, your power will be nulled. Violation of requirements results in removal of the power/item, so please fix this as soon as possible to continue using the compasses, and do not use them until you do so.
