A Short Biography Of Your Character: Atsukou was a Tuathan child born in a small town far from any big cities. She was a demure and fragile girl, prone to illnesses but managed to live decently, making a living off of her librarian duties. By the age of 20, Atsukou developed a fatal heart condition where her sinoatrial node in her heart would randomly cease to function. The illness progressively worsened over time; Atsukou experienced a fatal episode at the age of 21 when she was expected to die. By lady luck's grace, an innovative lightning mage was passing by her town at the moment and jumped Atsukou's node with electrical shocks. She was miraculously saved by said lightning mage, but the illness still remains. Atsukou payed the mage a generous amount of gold to teach her the arts of lightning magic so that she may keep herself alive and over a period of a two years, Atsukou became a proficient mage. After her training was complete, the lightning mage mysteriously disappeared without a word or clues to his whereabouts. Although in constant pain from having to administer shocks to herself (which she does discreetly to avoid any unwanted attention), she thrives to find the lightning mage again.

Hmmm my concern is that as far as I know, we do not have the technology ingame to create a pacemaker.

Not so sure what a pace maker or Sinoatrial Node is...but I will look them up after school. I will then give my approval or ask questions.

Well I guess I don't see anything wrong with it. I am just slight confused because I need to learn more of the human body. e.e Oh well, I approve!

I have totally had a character use lightning magic to jumpstart someone's heart in an rp xD. It seems a bit unstable, due to how powerful LB can be though @_@. I mean, if it crits it could explode your character's heart right out of her chest, or something. On the other hand, sometimes you can hit really low with it too xD, and it not do enough to restart a heart.

For a pace maker type thing, though, you could easily have some sort of metal pendant with lightning elements placed in it, to keep the electricity flowing in to the body at a lower rate.

Oooh, a metal pendant of said qualities sounds much safer for my character considering how death for a Tuathan is...death. I'll most likely incorporate that pendant into Atsu's belongings, thank you for your ideas!~

BUT. I think that should this get approved, or maybe before to help with that, you should fill out an application in the Character Powers and Abilities area for the item needed here. Being thorough with understanding the limits and what not of your creations, as well as making sure others can too, is pretty important. :O

Powers and abilities is still under maint sadly.

It's not a power. It's lightning elemental+pendant, just an alternative use for it.

Powers aren't under maintenance anymore. New stuff for it was put up a few days ago, I believe. *Points to the recent activities in the section.* And there's also a new template for special items. So yeah, my statement remains, especially if it's an elemental+pendant with alternative use for it.

I will put an application for the pendant right away, although.....I'm having trouble navigating the forums, where is the Powers and Abilities section?

...right, my bad. Foot in mouth. The thread's been moved back, but is "experiencing technical difficulties". So it's still not ready yet. Or something. (Or my observation skills just suck that bad and it never moved at all and was just hiding, or...I dunno. SOMETHING.).

And if Jabs is gonna say don't worry about it, then nevermind and don't worry about. My approval's still there either way. :O
