For sale- ...a large stone?

A couple of giants and humans were pulling a large object in to Dunbarton square. It was as large as a giant(10year old) and emitted a cold aura around it. Grey in color, and very hard.. but the surface was smooth, and glossy like a jem. They were talking amongst themselves, discussing what it could be. Seal stone came up several times. But a little known fact was that seal stones are broken, not movable by other means.

So what was it?

They decided amongst themselves, that whatever it was might bring in a nice profit. So placed a 'for sale' sign on the large cold stone.

((*takes a hammer to it* B| ))

The stone gets sold and the merchants leave. /end
