The festivities start tomorrow, August 2, 2011 and run from 1-3 PM (PDT).

Event 1: “Save the GM!”

Details: Oh, no! A GM has been injured and you’ll need to protect him or her as they follow you through a dungeon of your choice. Can you and your party fight off terrible monsters and keep the GM alive?

Event 2: “Monster Party!”

Details: Follow a GM to a dungeon and watch as high-level monsters you’ve never seen appear and attack. How many can you take on before the end? Can you make it through without getting killed by the monsters?

Event 3: “Dance Party!”(Seizing party for you-know-who-you-are*AHEM*)

Details: Meet the GMs in town for some dancing. You can meet and greet the Dragon Nest GMs, chat with them, ask some questions, and get to know the folks who’ll be helping you make Dragon Nest a great place to play!

We hope you’ll join us for a little GM-generated mayhem and a whole lot of fun!

GMs can be identified by their fancy headgear and if they have [GM], GM-, or (GM) in their names.

*GMs will randomly appear across the East and West servers for the events.

1. All Nest Dungeons are raid type. Meaning they allow I believe 8 people instead of 4.
   
2. All are Abyss difficulty. This means you cannot do them on Master or lower.
   
3. All Nest Dungeons have a chance to feature one of the Dragon Bosses in the game. These are advanced, high level bosses in the game.
   
4. All Nest Dungeons have a limit to the amount they can be played (May be different. I mean Nexon DID switch the FTG system for PWR. I.E. FTG limited how many dungeons you could do. PWR is NA-exclusive and just increases exp gain). Originally limited to 7 per dungeon per week.
   
5. Very rare drops are featured in this dungeon.
   

• Boss is a giant red Minotuar... GIANT GIANT. Think Manticore Giant... and increase that size.
  
• High Crit rate boss. Supposedly it's recomended you have 20k hp just to survive his hits.
  
• Located in Autumn Shore, where Dread Forest and Temple of the Sleepers is. It's that black portal.
  
• Boss drops are those horns and such that make up the Queen Corps set.
  
• Very hard solo boss. Party recomended. Takes a lvl 30 with epic level gear at least 20 minutes to solo, assuming they don't get hit and have very high crit.
  

Update: The servers are back up. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience. We are considering compensation plans including for those who worked hard on the Wings event. We will provide more details in the near future.

Thanks to everyone for making the Dragon Nest Open Beta a huge success. We are extending the open beta to continue to work on many aspects of the game. During this extension we will continue to update the game so our players can further test new content in Dragon Nest! Once we are closer to completing our testing, we will inform players when the open beta will be completed.

Due to some unscheduled maintenances over the last few days, the Open Beta “Spread Your Wings” event has been extended, and the requirements have changed.

Who is eligible:

• Level 24 characters that logged in and cleared at least 3 dungeons daily for at least 11 days between July 26 and August 10, 2011 at 11:59 PM Pacific.

• A pair of PERMANENT Loyal Dragon Wings will be given to qualified characters after August 10, 2011.

The mightiest crusader deserves the ultimate reward – get yours!

Due to some unscheduled maintenances over the last few days, Dragon Nest was intermittently unavailable. To compensate players for this downtime, enjoy two bonus EXP/drop events!

What: 2 hour 50% bonus EXP/drop events

When: Tuesday, August 9, 4 PM – 6 PM Pacific (7 PM – 9 PM Eastern)
Wednesday, August 10, 6 PM – 8 PM (8 PM – 10 PM Eastern)
