Character Name: Dalvar (You can call her Dal if you want, or whatever).
How You Heard About The RP Society: WELL! Me and my friend were wandering around in Mabi and she said how cool it would be to RP in there. I agreed but said that people tend to look at you funny if you just walk up to them and start RPing. And then we saw people with RPSociety above their names. It was totally a “BINGO!” moment.
How Long Have You Been Roleplaying? Forever and a DAY! Not really, but since I was old enough to type and be on the computer I have been RPing. And I am sure I was doing some kind of RPing before that. xD
Is English Your First Language? Yes, yup, totally.
A Short Biography Of Your Character: Dalvar’s life before finding herself on Erinn was rather boring, that is a major factor in why she has settled into this new world so readily. She went to a school with very strict discipline, this probably accounts for her immediate and terrified response to orders given to her by an authority figure. Then one day, at the age of 17, Dal woke up not in her dorm room but in a blindingly white area. It was only a matter of time until Nao showed up to tell her what was going on…
She is soft, living to protect and help her friends. Like many young denizens of Erinn she dreams of one day becoming a Paladin so she can help others, but she does not expect it to happen any time soon. Indeed, she is quite content to help and support her friends and companions on their quest to become Paladins over her own her own. Because she starts out every relationship with the assumption that the other person is nice she is not always the best judge of character and can be easily won over by a few kind words. She doesn’t like the thought of killing things, but placates this feeling by reminding herself that all the monsters she is killing have been turned truly evil by the god Cichol.
To Dal the world is split into four categories: her betters, her equals, people who need her protection, and dangers to her friends. The first category, ‘her betters’ is by far the largest; as that is automatically where everyone she meets is filed into. She treats ‘her betters’ with respect and most often an odd type of cringing awe. All knights and Paladins stick in this category with nigh-permanence. One of the few groups of ‘her betters’ that she does not treat this way is the priests; they are treated with a warm and helpful friendliness. ‘Her equals’ is, currently, probably the smallest category. You can tell when you have tumbled into this category because she slips into her unique form of slang that she no doubt picked up while at she was school before coming to Erinn. ‘People who need her protection’ is only slightly larger than ‘her equals’. She is actually a bit tough on the people in this category, ordering them to “sit” so she can heal them or collect apples so she can make them food. ‘Dangers’ has very few people in it, mostly consisting of monsters that could hurt her friends. For a person to fall into this category they must in some way hurt, physically, emotionally, or mentally, her or someone she cares for.
What type of character do you play? A soft and caring healer (Which isn’t to say she can’t fight, she needs to level up somehow. xD ).
What is your Mabinogi schedule? I’m in the eastern USA (GMT –6?). It is summer right not so I should be on mon-wed most of the day, Starting around noon and ending really late at night (i.e. really early in the morning xD). I can also get online most Saturday and Sunday nights. Once school starts my online time will become erratic, sometimes I will be able to get online for a few hours each weekday and some weeks I won’t be able to get on at all. Sorry about that.

I agree with Darke, very well written and well spoken. You really seen to have a specific idea of your character. And besides, We can always use more healer types.

D'aw... Thanks!
I guess I had this picture in my mind of Dal almost having a heart attack and then running away from the castle at top speed when Aodhan called "Hey! You need to ask permission to enter the castle!" and then it just blossomed from there. xD

Well you might find Brionnda a little intimidating, but her adoptive little brother Amosmalachi might be a kindred soul; one of the first things he did is learn Healing as soon as he was able.

Okay!
So, on the subject of mentors.
Dal would probably bond better with someone soft and caring like herself, but hilarity would ensue if she was paired up with someone strict and tough.

Re: New Member - Dalvar
I think a kind quiet healer type is needed.

The fish can't be wrong can it?

Hmm... someone wants the hilarity of a off-type mentor for Dalvar? I can grant that wish, Kagaea might just be interested in helping this one out.
