OOC Cooking Challenge

During my recent bout of Harry Potter fangirlism, I've been particularly fond of creativity outside of the realms of fiction writing and fan art. I thought it might be interesting to try the same thing with Mabinogi... in the form of cooking. *Shoves her nerd glasses back on.*

So! Get in the kitchen. Break out the cooking utensils. Let's add a little fantasy to our every day life. This challenge will run for two weeks, and whoever comes up with the most creative invention and represents Erinn through culinary effort wins an in game prize. :>

Guidelines:

* Must be Erinn inspired! This means a recipe from within the game, or a recipe inspired from a character. (ex. Nao Cupcakes) The more inventive, the better. Doesn't necessarily have to be complex, although aesthetics would be a nice consideration.

Edit: Inspired by your own character /others count, but I expect to see more effort and creativity into those type dishes. (Ex. Dalvar brownies with white macademia nuts, presented on pink napkins cut into lace and on an altar in a church building. Obviously I'm hoping for more than that, but just to give you a general idea!)

* It must be made! A picture of your dish should be submitted with some proof that it is yours (a name tag against the plate is good enough).

* With your submission, include a brief summary of what inspired your culinary invention, and how you feel it represents what you're representing. It's your chance to earn extra points!

* You have two weeks! The 25th is the dead line.

I think I'll make a dish as well Although mine obviously will be for show, and not competition. I'm going to make something that represents Ferghus.

Dal helped me plan this, and now I present to you....The Mabinogi Meal!

First off is potions for the discerning adventurer.

For the mage, a mana potion

For the tank a stamina potion

For everyone, a health potion

Or just get all three and hedge your bets (30 points each)



Now if you choose to adventure with a large group you might need a Party Feather

But if not, normal Phoenix Feathers should suffice



One might choose to adventure in Longa Dessert

Where if you use your L-Rods

Random treasures just 'pop up'!


Or you can fight the eldritch abomination, Glas Ghaibhleann

Of course, if you aren't careful he'll gobble you up and you'll end up as PC Puree


So what is all this, you ask?
From top to bottom it is......
Water with food coloring
Cut up carrots
Volcano Pancake
Honey-Garlic Green Bean salad
Popovers
Honey Challah
Homemade Garlic Hummus (with food coloring)
There was also supposed to be a cake for the Arch-Lich, but I didn't have time for it. Sorry.
And yes I know, some of it is a stretch (especially the green beans/L-Rods) but I ask that you go along with it.

The contest rules require proof that I made this. I didn't have note cards, so have a picture of me with some of the food instead. Be warned as I don't photograph well.

I liked it a lot. Very creative indeed sir. Kudos to you and your creativeness. Plus I thank Jaeden for coming up with the idea! Can't wait to see more!
