History:
Retsuno never really understood why people were so shocked to know Temo had a kid, or two them. He even looked just like him, save for the bright blue eyes he'd inherited from his mother, Katsuna. How could anyone think different? Temo never really told him why either, if he even knew. It wasn't like the boy cared anyway though. Retsuno was Retsuno, and that was all there was to it, right?

Born and raised in various places about Iria, Retsu also developed his mother's wanderlust along with much of her personality. Brash and unbelievably bold for somebody his age, he tended to get himself into a lot of trouble when exploring too far from camps, and sometimes dragging his twin sister into it. For all the problems caused though, all the danger faced, he only seemed encouraged to see more.

History:
After his parents' divorce...nothing really changed for him, actually. Except that he saw considerably less of his family and never saw them all in the same place ever again. It wasn't much of a big deal for him though. He and his sister were always left to do their own thing, or snuck off to do so when bored. Now he just got to do his own thing more often!

Unfortunately, he learned fast that the grown-up world was even harder to fit into as a kid. He could handle necessities fine, sure; but as far as being a part of society...well, even when he was with family, they weren't exactly very civilized folk themselves. One of his mother's favorite pastimes was wrestling bears for crying out loud! Retsu himself had little will to learn how to be "civilized" either. While he was particularly interested in things like reading, writing, a number of little bits here and there in education, he didn't like the hassle of being made to do them when it wasn't convenient for him, or conforming to the mundane rules and lifestyles of others. From what he experienced in life, that sort of thing was what got people killed quite easily.

Too bad this outlook on life didn't do much as far as fitting in with better crowds went, and he eventually fell into the wrong ones to get by. Wanderers like him, though also fortune-seekers through not-so-honest means. Retsu didn't like it, but the experiences taught him a few things that helped when he finally broke free of his so-called friends. Of course, he made enemies of them too, and their friends, and so on, until in recent times, he isn't too liked by a lot of bandits in Uldah. Of course, sneaking things from them that they already stole on top of the initial dislike didn't help that...

Retsuno still retains his interests in alchemy and swordplay among other things; and his adventures have caused him to become even more daring than usual. Daring, but careful. After all, unlike his parents, he only has one life to live. And in it, many places to go, things to see...stuff to steal.

I never liked the idea of a Tuathan aging superfast, like within an RL month-year or something like that. So for me, it's too fast. But I got bored n' impatient.
