Teme "Light" Rosea - Gypsy Empty Teme "Light" Rosea - Gypsy

[[Seeing as Temo is out of his bizarre-o Spirit Sword "puberty" and away from anything else that would end in him having gender issues, that leaves poor Teme out in the cold. Both fixing that here and giving folks an idea of what some of the DK kiddies from Requiem may be like. ]]

History:

Teme was one of the children captured in the final battle within Tara's Shadow Realm - one of those that were talked down from whatever grand ideal people thought Fenrir had instilled in them. It wasn't so much Requiem or their education that had kept her from leaving them to begin with. She had her own ideas in mind, placed upon her from growing up and her own views of a few seedier elements within her hometown, Emain Macha. Things that her own family got caught up in. Requiem merely gave her the strength to do something about it.

She loved that power - missed it. Before she had it, people seldom listened to her, even though most of the time she was right. She never had the physical strength needed for the kind of work she wanted to do either. The armor - it was imposing. It made her voice heard. It gave her strength too - not only for combat, but for all the work she loved doing since before Requiem, but could only watch. Work that she knew would help in bringing a change she wanted. Losing it was the toughest thing for her.

Though she reluctantly agreed to be rid of her dark armor, Teme secretly refused to give up on her desire to make a difference in Erinn, nor at least accept another one that required her to adapt and be something she wasn't. On the surface, she did agree to everything told to her. She acknowledged her wrongs, renounced her ways, and agreed to return home to the family that loved and cared for her like a good girl.

...with fingers crossed and a prayer that the fools "helping" her fell off a cliff someday.

At least she helped in lightening the sentence on the Fomor soldiers by telling people the things they wanted to hear. If she hadn't she would have probably rotted away in confinement until she did without that little bonus, and there was no helping anything like that. Lying wasn't something Teme favored but she wasn't stupidly naive either. The loss of her power over something like this was something she hated as well; and she made a vow to get it all back someday.

Being back within the rebuilding society didn't help matters. Even when she tried to fit in when returned to Emain Macha, she could still see it in people's eyes - she was untrusted and feared, much like other children like her. The taint of the dark armors was something that would stay with them for the remainder of their lives. She didn't appreciate being taken back into the world out of sympathy for actions she performed of her own free will, nor having those actions belittled with talks of "You were under a spell." or "Manipulated by lies." by her parents who had survived the war. It made her more bitter with people than she had ever been in the past. She didn't want to stay among them. Chances were if she did, she was going to do something she did regret.

When Kurohi's letter reached the bulletin boards, she was among the first to recognize the tune attached with it and among the first to reach Rabbie to meet with the succubus. Despite warnings of how rough things may have been in the future from her, Teme wholeheartedly agreed to join Kurohi. The woman and the other children, even some of the Fomors from Requiem, had been more of a family to her than her blood relatives. Leaving them behind was something that didn't cause her to hesitate in the slightest.

Now, Teme spends her time in the caravan Kurohi personally set up, working as an artisan and dancer. The warning was right - fitting in with society hasn't been any easier, but she's happier this way. At least now she has others that understand her better backing her up.Ovelia's Theme - Final Fantasy Tactics OST
