Being a spirit, she's always existed in one form or another. Occasionally showing up through the soul stream, to be reincarnated again. Or, that's what she'd tell you. More than 500 years ago, Auramune existed in a world that feared spirits and demons alike. Auramune, or as she called herself Nogit, was a highly skilled thief. An existence filled with breaking in and looting treasure. But she eventually grew bored of this, and found a mate. A man who, to no knowledge of her, was trying to claim a bounty on her heard. He weakened her. And using the last of her powers, escaped out of the demon world. It was by accident that she found the soul stream; and the little boy who mended her wounds, and promised her a new life away from whatever she had gone through. Tin, he called himself..

Bio:
To understand Auramune, you should know that there are two egos housed in the same soul. Nogitsune and Aura. Aura is little more than a blushing shell of emotions. Everything humane about the kitsune is Aura. She is what keeps herself from letting the monster that is her other-half run wild. Nogitsune has always been some-what of a loose wire. She enjoys parties, getting drunk, passing out naked, and losing entire hours of memory at a time. But when it came to work, she was another person completely. Sneaky, under handed.. and quick to sever the ties of momentary allies to get ahead. But it was lonely having to hide out from the world. Beyond what Erinn saw of her, Aura wanted.. more than anything.. was someone to spend an eternal life with. And a family.

The first, she would have laid her life on the line for.. give him anything he desired. Just for a glimpse of his smile, a compliment, and a few minutes of quality time. All of those were so few and far between, that soon she withdrew to herself, and became sullen and depressed. Even the birth of their son was not enough to bring them together. During this time she joined the Requiem under the guise of finding him. Learning that the group targeted churches, Auramune felt inclined the 'help.' Being a secretary meant that she knew what was going on in the world. Knew who to consider an enemy, and who a friend. It also paid really well. But it wasn't enough to have him come and go as he pleased, paying no mind to even his child. One night in the shadow realm, he explained how 'work' would always come first. That when he was done, he would come and find her again. With what little courage she had built up, from the years of neglect with him, Aura chose to walk away. Scorned, and bitter of love and the pain that would follow.

The second came so suddenly.. He could have given her the world. Everything she could ever want. And in thralls of pent up passion, Aura fell for the leader of the Requiem. She knew that this world of war was not something she wanted. Despite trying to keep their romance on the down low, word had gotten out and Aura endured several threats. They hated him; she didn't. He wasn't a monster, he was a hero. But.. there was no future with him. There never would be.. He wouldn't give up his battle for her. Not when it was this close to ending. On a rainy evening in Emain, Aura regretfully left him, too. Walked away, UNSTABBED(:O!), and once again bitter.. She worried she would never find love. Like a black cat had crossed her path, bad luck ran rampant in her life.

At this point, she was so over romance.. or lack there of.. but had been bitten by the lust bug, that she nearly jumped the man she would eventually marry. She'd known him for years, and even worked with him under Fenrir. But all it took was her kissing him to know that he was what she wanted. He was the one she was waiting for. The two kept their relationship as secret, and endured many hardships. Xeek was always there to protect her.. to kiss and coddle, let her know that he would always be there. When the time came, they were married. And began their own family.

For now, Aura lives as peacefully as she can with her husband and children. The two egos seeming to harmonize without each one fighting to be dominant over the body.

Character History Through Player: I know I left out a lot of key points to Aura's history. The friends she's made, and lost.. and Fenrir's death re-opening wounds. And the fact that she wears a lot more clothes now, and drinks waaay less. But this is a part of the story I wanted to tell. She spent so much time being sad, that I'm happy that Aura is finally at a place in life where every day isn't a battle for attention, or.. for her life. I wasn't sure where in this to put it, but if you haven't learned by now, Aura believes in an eye for an eye. I think that's an important part of her personality. I'm looking forward to playing Aura for another year. See where her story goes. =)

Bio: One of the triplets born to Xeek and Aura, Todd is on the shy and timid side. He has plans to travel the world, and dreams of living in Cor to research the animals.. and girls. He doesn't like to get in to trouble, and rarely talks out to his parents. Unlike some of his other siblings.
