Weapon: "The pen is mightier than the sword. Especially if you sign a contract with it. But I must admit a sword looks more impressive."

Abilities:
Contract: Serth can form an near unbreakable contract. If a willing person signs their name to one, he can grant them a wish- but then they are forced to honor the contract, whatever it might be. Resistance can result in Serth gaining temporary marionette control over the person. Interestingly, Serth is unable to access his wish granting powers on his own behalf. (There are rumors that the wish granting power comes from an unknown source, and Serth is just an agent of this source.)

Contract Trace: A contracted person can be traced, as Serth can see 'a thread of light' that connects contract and person. If the person is not in Erinn, the thread breaks, but reattaches if they should return. Death produces a similar result, but as soon as the person is reborn, he can once again trace them.

Biography:
Serth was going over his contracts, all of them created in this world. He generally hated this kind of work, but it was time to file his end-of-era reports, and that meant making sure all his contracts were closed. This world which he had been assigned to was essentially farmed out for a while, time would be needed to increase the population and create the desparation necessary for optimal contract conditions. What he really needed, he decided, was some sort of secretary. She could keep these things in order for him and perhaps go around and check up on documents that were still awaiting collection. She would also be attractive and could attend to his everyday needs as well... oh, but who was he kidding? His budget would never be able to support a secretary. Sigh.

As he approached the bottom of the stack several days later, Serth picked up a contract with a faint glow surrounding it. This upset him exceedingly. An open contract! And the soul was no longer in this world as well! He quickly scanned through the contract, and recalled the events with a snarl. What a shame! His perfect record of contract completion was going to be ruined, and he'd have to fill out even more paperwork now. If he didn't hurry, it was going to cut into his vacation time. And he had booked such a nice hotel, too.

Serth sent a copy of the contract to his supervisor along with the proper uncollected debt paperwork, and within a week it had been rejected. Stupid bureaucracy. In addition, his paid time off had been canceled, and he had been assigned coordinates for a new world and sent a one-way interdimensional portal. Instead of just closing the account, they were sending him off to a new world, to close the old account and make new ones. He checked his info sheet. Erinn. Well, at least it was rumored to be a rather pretty, if primitive, world...
