How he came to be in Erinn/Character history:

Veleth is a child of Iria. He was born and raised in Karu Forest by his father. To his knowledge, his mother is dead and he has no siblings. Veleth has little memory of his father and those memories he has is of being taken away from him. At a young age he was informed that his father could not pay his taxes and had given up Veleth as payment until they were repaid. As debts may go, however, Veleth was passed about in a manner befitting of currency, serving various masters when payment could not be made. It was in this manner that he became indentured to Jaeden, with whom he currently serves. Years of service have left him loyal and yet bitter. Though he will serve her loyally, he is often found cursing her behind her back, as he did with all his masters. Veleth snidely refers to Jaeden as "Madam" or "My Lady", titles he knows that she loathes.
