Rini's lovely carrot cakes!

Rini absolutely loved the upcoming holiday! She had been practicing baking and perfected a recipe for carrot cake, that she absolutely had to share with the world!

Throughout Erinn, in each city, is a large basket with heart shaped carrot cakes inside. A bit of lovely potion added in to the recipe for a, hopefully, added effect! Above the basket was Please take one! bold.


On the cakes were a note,
Give this to the one you love, and maybe they will return the love to you!

Lili drops by the basket in the dead-morning hours of her guard shift and takes a few when she thinks nobody's out to watch her.

"Not gonna screw things up this time, damnit..."
As an afterthought, she drops by the local clinic and leaves one for the Manus and the potioners, with instructions to examine it for poisons.

((I don't know how possible it is or isn't to test for potions in a baked good. Can we get a blue ruling on that? If it is possible(I don't care either way xD), the potion is the lovely potion. An IG commerce item that is said to "A potion that brings true love between the two that drink it. Only work if your intended lover does not know what it is." It may or may not work xD, but it was put in there.))

((On the one hand that sounds interesting, on the other hand that also sounds highly date-rapey and probably 5 kinds of illegal. Gonna wait for admins to see if the clinic catches anything suspicious))

[[I highly doubt we'd be able to find terrible Tir potions in a cake, but I also highly doubt terrible Tir potions would DO anything like that. Most I could see is a likeability affect, where they're friendlier for a short period of time, since I highly doubt the Aliech regime would allow little goblins to hand out drugs that force love into people.]]

Seeing as last year's cake wasn't anything to cause death in his taste testing, or even a tortured stomach like her earlier attempts, Jack took a cake again this year. If it was anything like the last, it meant he could share with the entire family this time rather than having to take one for the team on Rini's cooking again. He'd also be sure to send her one in return as thanks!

Temo also took one while passing by on his way home but...well, perhaps the kids would like some. It saved him on cooking desert for the evening, which meant a little more time to craft; and technically it didn't count as eating it alone. So he was keeping up with whatever tradition this was for, right? Right.

Being the die hard sneak-thief he was and not seeing anybody watching the gift-giving this time around, Retsu swiped two. In his defense, they weren't both for him - he figured a certain proud dragon could use a small push. He wasn't sure how this sort of thing went over with giant winged reptiles, but it was the thought that counted! As for his own, while it was tempting to nibble at, he forced himself to wait until he got home to share it...

Glacia passed by, looked at the cakes, then gave a sigh and walked on.

"Stupid Sugar allergies." She mumbled to herself as she left town.

Elafina had taken a small walk, and upon spotting the basket in Emain, the faun figured it wouldn't hurt to pick one up. Surely her special someone would appreciate it with some lavender tea on the side.

Leorina, of all people? Really? The bronzed young woman raised an eyebrow, inspecting one of the cakes curiously. Would he like it? Did fish even eat cake? Maybe if she topped it with fish flakes... She stifled a laugh at the thought, heading off with it to wait by the beach in Port Ceann. Just a little peace offering...

Of course the little succubus wouldn't pass up on such a chance! Lovely carrot cakes? That sounds amazing! But just as Lorelei picked one up.... she realized, who to give it to? Pouting, she hesitantly set it back in the basket, her little wings drooping.

"..yeah, okay. I can do this."

The woman in the large hat took one of the cakes. She didn't eat it, ended up tossing it in a bin, in fact, but she left a Heartbeat Gateau Au Chocolat on top of the rest of the pile. Take a cake, leave a cake, she figured.

"...Who puts carrots in cake? Disgusting idea.."
