How she came to be in Erinn:
In a dystopian world, terrorists run rampant and illness and injuries are widespread. Doctors are viewed as a limited and valuable resource - and at times, a bargaining chip. Chesed grew up on the outskirts of one of the last vestiges of organized society, and witnessed great amounts of pain, illness, and suffering. At a young age, her family was ripped from her by a plague that ravaged the city. This motivated her to become a doctor, and she spent the majority of her life working to become one of the top ER doctors in the last free hospital in the city she grew up outside of. However, eventually the city succumbed to terrorist attacks, and the hospital was torn apart by explosives.
