Summarized History of the Twilight War
Right. So. I keep getting requests to post this somewhere so people can understand the history behind the war, and keep forgetting. There's a small hitch to this anyways - to do the basic history, I require a few other viewpoints, so this is a somewhat collaborative project rather than a straight up story; but by the time it's finished, it shall be getting posted...probably under Information later. Or something like that.
Anyways, here's how this works. I'm going to be listing the happenings of the Twilight War on this post, to my knowledge. Should there be something I forget or others who took part have events they feel would fit under general history of the war, kindly leave a post and I shall update when I can.
This is a serious topic. People are welcome to ask questions, give input, that kind of thing, but kindly keep thread chatter to a minimum on the jokes. And with that, here goes:
The End. Did I forget or misinterpret anything?![Surprised](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_surprised.gif)

This is a serious topic. People are welcome to ask questions, give input, that kind of thing, but kindly keep thread chatter to a minimum on the jokes. And with that, here goes:
- Spoiler:
- -Fenrir Eir posts his warning to Uldah. By the end of the week, (or year, in Milletian terms), children from Dunbarton and Emain Macha were abducted, and what were later known as the "twilight shards" were scattered to areas about Erinn.
-Eir's army - Requiem - emerges from Rabbie Dungeon and prepares to lay siege to Dunbarton. Dunbarton surrenders upon the discovery that the abducted children are among the ranks as Dark Knights - Fenrir's elite soldiers, the Black Dawn.
-A secondary army breaches Barri Dungeon and captures Bangor with minor casualties.
-Resistances and rebellions form. Requiem remains strong despite casualties.
-Fenrir is confirmed to be assassinated, only to come back from the dead days later and continue his campaign.
-Requiem lays siege to Emain Macha in a battle involving the guard and Wolfe's rallied forces. Despite Corenite interference stacking the odds against them 3-1, Requiem annihilates Wolfe's army and captures Emain Macha.
-Paths to Tara and Tailteann are heavily blockaded by the Aliech Regime. Paths to Dunbarton are blockaded by Requiem.
-Liiam's resistance infiltrates Emain Macha. In retaliation and to discourage further actions, civilians "suspected" of being involved are publicly executed. Law and punishment in Requiem-controlled cities places more pressure on those living within.
-Scouts discover the locations of the twilight shards discovered - one being held by hobgoblins in Cor, the other in the belly of a sea monster terrorizing Iria's western seas, and the third in Zardine - embedded in the vent of Raspa Volcano. All three were confirmed to be the sources of abnormalities in the environment.
-The twilight shard in Cor is destroyed by a small group of Corenites, mercenaries, and Silvreno Eir - Fenrir's son.
-A team of Corenites and Liiam's resistance destroy the twilight shard in Raspa Volcano.
-Requiem begins its final assault, with forces divided to attack Tir Chonail, Tailteann, and Tara simultaneously.
-The Corenites reveal their new invention - the Wanderers; and use them to destroy the third twilight shard. Entine sacrifices himself in the process.
-During the battle for Tir Chonnail, disguised hostages are discovered among Requiem's solders. Warning was sent to the other cities.
-The assault on Tailteann ended with Requiem's surrender - leading to the capture of their 2nd-in-command, Kurohi, and what was left of the Black Dawn. Kurohi manages to escape days later.
-The Wanderers intercept the army marching on Tara, dealing heavily casualties before being forced to retreat.
-Fenrir Eir is slain again during the battle for Tara, and those fighting alongside him retreat. His soul is spotted vanishing into stonehenge, where he and the last of his forces make their final stand. A fourth twilight shard is discovered among them.
-Tara's soldiers manage to defeat and/or capture the remnants of Requiem. Fenrir is presumed officially deceased as the twilight shard - learned to be the key of his resurrections - is destroyed; but no body is discovered.
-Remnants of Requiem are either captured or managed to escape. The Black Dawn children are institutionalized. Most remain unrepentant of their actions.
-Requiem's remaining soldiers and children who managed to escape - are "abducted" again by Kurohi. A bounty is issued for her capture or death. With the army's disappearance came the suspicious appearance of bands of gypsies arriving on Uldah and Iria shores; but no connection was confirmed.
-Life continues on as usual for Erinn. History books mark Warlord Fenrir Eir and Requiem as a blight to the kingdom, his name is still something that freaks people out and - as demonstrated - can cause mass panic, and the year-long (50 years by Milletian standards) war in general is something that has influenced Erinn in ways it has yet to recover from, for better or worse.
The End. Did I forget or misinterpret anything?

Done. Anything else?

That's by Milletian standards. Given this was a war geared toward Tuathans, I was going by real-time, or at least what I recall being considered such for Erinn. But I'll clarify on that.
Edit: Done.
