Personality: On the exterior she presents herself as a kindly healer, offering low prices for her good service. What she doesn't show, though, is a more cynical and cruel outlook on people. This woman is a sociopath, and has no remorse should she make a "mistake" with a job. Especially if she finds the client to be a nuisance. She's just in it for the money.

History:

The 1920's Prohibition Era.

Mr. and Ms. Desrosier, two successful doctors, were proud to announce that their daughter, Vivica Ryssa Desrosier, had graduated from medical school and was prepared to join them in their occupation. With funding from her wealthy, upper-class family the young woman opened up a small clinic upon her family's expectations. It may have been a bad idea, as they'd find out after her death, but
Vivica never complained about her fate, no. In fact, she looked forward to the career! But not for the reasons her family expected. They expected the soft-spoken young woman to be gentle and caring towards her patients without discrimination. The ideal doctor, of course. Nothing less!
And at least, that was how Vivica presented herself for the first few months in the business.
But after an argument with a patient and a failed surgery, she lost her license. Of course, her family didn't find out. The woman lied and insisted that business was going just fine. And that it was, since after the loss of her medical license and her clinic, she simply opened up a new one at the back of her preferred speakeasy. Bars were outlawed, after all, and a whole bunch of indulgences were illegal so.... why not just make it worse?

Obtaining home-made booze from her pals at the place, and paying some dollars or so for "rent", Miss Desrosier opened her clinic once again in the back alley of the street. A good amount of her clients, women in need of abortions with a promise of secrecy, or wounded gangsters, or simply the poor with the lack of a pretty penny for a proper doctor. And surely, Vivica did her work well.

That's not to say that her sociopathy didn't show through, though. There were times that she'd "accidentally" forget to use anesthesia during a surgery, or "ran out" of disinfectant for some of her tools. But those times were very few, and they never lived to complain. Save for one.

Vivica's final patient, a young girl of sixteen, needed an quick and painless abortion. Even after swearing secrecy, Vivica lost her patience with the extremely chatty girl and intentionally hurt her with the tools during the process. Details omitted due to squick. Quite the mistake, as the girl was a relative of a drug lord, and needless to say... Vivica was finally put out of business for good.

Her reason for being brought to Erinn? She doesn't know for sure, but certainly isn't complaining. Just another chance to cause harm with a charming smile.

I was just kidding, but were female doctors common then..? I can't imagine there'd be much discrimination with progress made in Europe by female doctors and scientists decades before this time.
