Calida Exploration Camp

Originally an exploration camp, the Calida area is now home to a mid-sized settlement of giants and giant-allied humans. Elves fear the area due to its proximity to Physis. The camp was previously under control of the great Captain Leon Fenris, but after a tragic ballooning accident, his second in-command was given leadership. The late Captain Fenris’ son, Lysander Fenris, rose through the ranks and became the leader of the settlement at the age of eighteen. The settlement is home to a community of inter-mingling giants and humans. They live off the nearby Capybara and Mountain goats. The townspeople generally enjoy trekking to the hot springs or picnicking on the shore of Lake Calida.

Guard Line up: Where are the guards
-Ten melee specialists are generally wandering around through the settlement. Few surround the settlement itself. Two guards (they rotate occasionally with two other guards) are always guarding the hot-air balloons and authorizing usage. Ten more melee specialists help guard the Correction Facility.

-Four Archer specialists are hidden by the path to Physis(Two on one side, and two on the other). Eight archer specialists surround the Correction Facility.

-The Mage specialists and Ballista specialists aren’t active unless an aerial threat is present. Both then go into hot-air balloons and fight from there. The balloons are kept guarded near the Calida Mana Tunnel.


Arresting: How guards will proceed to arrest someone.
The guards are generally friendly and usually start off with a warning (for small offenses of course). If the minor offense is repeated, then they will take action and haul the transgressor off to the Correction Facility. For major offenses, they will immediately attempt to arrest the culprit and take them to the Correction Facility. The guards will be hostile in these situations and will attack if necessary.

Calida Main Stream NPCs:
-All of the mainstream NPCs will be active and will remain as the game developers created them(For example: Belita will still remain healer/fossil restorer, Arenen will be banker, and Kelpie the General Store Owner). To NPC these characters, you must contact me and I will decide if you are capable of NPC’ing them.

Other NPCs:
-There are several other NPCs (People are free to NPC these, just let me know.):
-Two blacksmiths(One Ferghus level, the other Nerys level)
-one healer(other than Belita):
-one Tailor

-Of course, there are the families and whatnot that live in the settlement. NPC these as you wish. Just remember that they are expected to follow the laws or they might end up being carried off by a burly and rude guard.

NPC Status:
Calida is mainly a non-milletian town. People are dying occasionally, but due to normal things like old age and sickness. The few milletians that do reside in Calida are being prepped for possible evacuation.

City Status: Everything’s pretty good. The town is attacked occasionally by angry wyverns but the guards take care of them. Lysandr runs several drills nowadays for Milletian evacuation. This involves them leaving Calida effectively and travelling to the Safe Point(Nubes Caverns-Physis Side).

Special Laws:
-Balloons are only used by Calida’s militia
-No polluting the springs/sources of water
