S4 League!

I think I know some who play this game, thought it was really fun when I first played it so I thought, maybe it could be fun to RP in this also.

It may not look fun to RP in at first but maybe if we had a group of RPers fighting and the characters could have reasons for being in this "League" and such, it may not be that bad.

Oh wow, I'm surprised this wasn't thrown up soon. xD

S4 is a pretty sweet game. if you've played Gunz, think of it like that...just less steampunk, more Reboot-ish, and instead of wall running, you can only just kick-flip off them. Still, weapons are balanced and fun, game modes are also awesome, and if you can find a game without lag, the action is non-stop without many kinks to it...unless you're the cannon fodder of your team.

I'm STILL against RPing during the actual game and not keeping that to the waiting room though. Last time I tried it, there was a punk in the group that kept trying to KO me while I was typing because he wanted to win the match regardless or putting any work into it. Wanted a "perfect record" for his character without putting the work into it. So then I just got fed up and started beating the snot outta him. You wanna get scores off me, you gonna earn 'em...like Xeek. <_<

Other than that, I'm against RP in the arena anyways. Waiting room is fine, but if I go into a game, it's to turn people into pretty little 0's and 1's.

As long as you're quick and able to hide, it's pretty easy to rp during the fighting.(Well, I guess I'm not much of a threat so I don't get attacked during RP while I'm posting.)

It's a little harder when you're trying to hold a "social gathering" under the roof of some building to chat about introductions and cookies and junk. Weren't you there for the first time me, Xeek, and Caliandra did this? Or was it somebody else?

...for the record, it was Cali that was being the punk then. I shoot heem ded. Several times. +_+

Nope it wasn't me xD. I only started playing recently. Xeek, you, and I did fight though. I need a new melee weapon. >_>!

I was thinking of it like a league, if you start a battle there is no need to talk, just fight but if you are in a gathering with just your friends (RPers) It will be a lot more easier. Thats why when you are in a waiting room you could be like "Alright! I have heard of-(So and so) I have been wanting to fight you since I came into the League!"
*Then battle starts and you battle*

I remember playin this with Temo and Lai I believe. And someone else. But yea, never played with Xeek or Aura, and I wasn't the best, but I could kill when I needed to.

And as for RPing in the game, as long as we can all agree on it, I don't think it should be a problem. With enough people, if someone decides to be a punk, we'll kill 'em, X on 1.

Either way, I do still have this game downloaded.

Woah! Gunz looks pretty cool, maybe I should add Gunz to this Topic since they look so much alike.

I saw the hand motions for playing gunz on youtube. Guy's hand moved so fast it wasn't funny. It looks like your hand would really hurt playing that game o3o;

As for S4 i have an account and im trading my ps3 away for a laptop so yeah. T^T im gonna miss my ps3 but i just cant handle not having a computer..

Yeah, that was one of the 2 reasons I didn't like Gunz. First was how, in order to pull off a lot of "pro" moves, you ran the risk of breaking your fingers. The second was the players. A lot of the game as it is now, is full of a bunch of people that've played it endlessly and practiced. So you've got a bunch of trolling veterans who show no mercy to newbies. xD

On the bright side, their weapons are nice n' balanced, the gear is snazzy and - unlike S4 - permanent after purchase, and the moves are pretty sweet.

Gunz and S4 both would work better with people who you know. That's my stand. It's much more enjoyable playing with people who don't have years of expereince or you know them and they won't be a JA.

ive become addicted to S4. nuf' said.

I haven't played in quite sometime. I like the game and it's interesting, but other games seem to be occupying my time. xD

Trust me, gear matters. Weapons they pay for with real cash have a lot better aim and damage. @_@
