Metal Assault
If you enjoyed games like Contra, Metal Slug, Gunstar Heroes, Gunster, or any other side-scrolling shooter, you may wanna check this out. It's an RPG/shooter that's currently going through open beta. You take the role of one of four mercenary soldiers, and basically go on missions, PVP, shooting up stages, fighting armies of soldiers and...zombies. I don't even get why there are stages with zombies, but gathering up a team to fire into undead hordes is never a dull thing.
Pros:
- Arsenal of weapons to pick from and customize.
- Easy on your internets.
- Great party game. Hosts up to 16 people per map. That is a lot of bullets flying.
- Easy controls.
Cons:
- A little repetitive.
- Dialogue is kinda lame.
- A little repetitive.
- I'll say this about mission modes though - they start out very slow, quick, and easy, and don't really pick up until after the second boss fight, even when set to higher difficulties.

Oh sorry. It's F2P. They might do the Nexon thing, where you buy yourself credits, but on the other hand, you also get those for each 10 minutes you spend in-game, as well as from items you pick up in Mission mode. So I'm pretty sure even their premium shop items are free.
Of course, still in beta, so that might change. The game overall is free-to-play and seems it shall remain so though.
