How to Deal with Harrassment

When someone is harassing you, any of the following are appropriate responses:

Ask them politely to stop, making it plain that you do not like how they are treating you. This should always be your first step.
If they are in a guild, you may report the event to their guild leader. You can ask me to contact the guild leader if you wish, but most likely the other guild leader will want to question you directly about the event. If you can't find the guild stone, I'll help you look for it to figure out who the leader is.
If it's strictly verbal abuse, you may add them to your blacklist in game so that you no longer have to hear them.
Change channels and/or go to an area where they are not.
Report them to Nexon for breaking the terms of service.

A good report includes:

The exact name of the person harassing you. You can make sure to get the exact name by right clicking on the perpetrator and selecting Copy Name from the menu, then use Ctrl+V to paste the name into the abuse report.
The name of the character you were on at the time.
The time (and timezone) of the abuse.
As many details about the abuse as you can remember, especially exact phrases used. Screenshots are helpful to you for recalling what was said and done, but are not necessary in reports to Nexon because they should have full records of the event, if they just know when and what to search for. Screenshots should be provided if you are reporting to their guild leader.

What you should not do:

Do not resort to attacking, threating, harassing, or violating the ToS by other means toward the person who harassed you.
Do not tell them you are going to report them. It is pointless to do so. Either report them or do not report them, don't use it as a threat.
