Short bio I wrote up for this:
Not a day goes by when you do not hear the angry screaming of a shop keeper or citizen of Filia complaining. Likely this complaining is created by Vekienm, not from any sort of trickery or dishonesty but more from his slow witted nature and clumsiness. He was born to a middle class family of Filia, who sent him to the market to seek employment rather than have him muck up their own affairs.
Vekienm was unaware that people regarded him as a hazzard to their own wellbeing as well as their possession. Even though many viewed him this way they could not deny that he was generally a pleasant person to be around as he was always in a cheerful mood and easy to please.
One day while running some water to the healer in Filia he came across a elf he hadn't seen before perusing the weapons of the local blacksmith. This elf was Veldik. At once Vekienm was impressed by his appearance, and knew him to be a fighter of some nature. Sudden inspiration his Vekienm, so he ran forward and threw himself at Veldik's feet and called him master, begging him to take him on as his apprentice.
Veldik took him, though it seemed rather reluctantly, as such and has been teaching him the ways of archery. Vekienm hopes one day he will join the ranks of Veldik's brigade, who call themselves the Mirage Brigade.
